The A7 is Ingolstadt's answer to the Mercedes CLS - a swooping four-door 'coupaloon'. It's based heavily on the A6 saloon family underneath, so there's the usual wide spread of V6 and four-cylinder petrol and diesel power, and a mix of front- or four-wheel Quattro drive.
