Ideas for good family car?

 Hi there, I'm currently looking for a new car to replace my current old golf which has had its day. I've got two kids so need ample space in the back, 5 doors and definitely good boot space. I've had my eye on a Ford Kuga which I like the look of: www.desperateseller.co.uk/cars-for-sale/ford/kuga but not sure as the boot space doesn't seem that big when I went to look at one. Does anyone have any suggestions, needs to be reliable too and not too cumbersome to drive. Many thanks
