Thoughts please??

Hi everyone!

Saw an interesting looking write-up in Auto Express today....all about getting into racing! they talked about a scholarship being run in feb....

Been on the website, looks pretty cool! wanted to know if anyone did it last year?? and is it any good??

BTCC Last Race

Howdy. Migh tbe a long shot, but does any1 know of any comeptieions on the go for tickets to silverstone next weekend?!

It's shaping up to be such a good race Id love to go (for free - bloody bank balance! ).

Failing that, anyone know if it's going to be on tv?

Great driving on a 997 GT3 Cup - amazing skills

Team Abu Dhabi by tolimit driver Sean Edwards finished 4th overall, 3rd in Supercup, 3rd in Carrera Cup and now leads both championships.

The race was so wet and it being his first time at this track in these conditions the race was a tough one!

The car is a standard 2011 997 GT3 Cup with no abs

Kubica Badly Injured

Robert Kubica has had a very bad crash whilst competing in a rally car.Injuries apparently are fractured leg, pelvis and arm.Word is that it was touch and go whether his arm could be saved and that situation is still being monitored.Even if he stays in one piece its reckoned he'll be out for the whole of 2011

In order not to hog the "news" section (daily ) I think there are sufficient rally nutters in the form of ex driver (me and GTR and I think a few other might own up ) and rally interested people from co-drivers (just if not more important than the bloody driver!) mechanics - marshalls - organizers and simply the best fans in the world - so I am starting this thread in order me - the guilty one - and all other interested can throw in any and all up to the minute info and interesting news ...

Sauber first to copy McLaren's F-duct system

Sauber will be testing in Melbourne their own version of the F-duct system presented by McLaren's car for the 2010 season. Only two weeks since the first race in Bahrain and some changes have aready come out...how well will it do? will be used in this weekend race?

F1 2010 Season starting

Looking foward for this f1 season...think its going to be one of the most competitive one of the last years with the fighting going until the last GP's.

think that Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull have the stronger f1's, can't really predict how the Mercedes will do...it had some ups and downs during the test season.

As for drivers, Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso I think are the main contenders for the Driver's Championship.

Athough the car doesn't seem to be at the front row of contenders, I am hoping for a good return by Michael Schumacher, maybe his experience will ...

Will Schuey be Quick?

 F1 testing has now started and the teams are developing their cars. At this point it's very difficult to get an idea of the ultimate pace of both the cars and drivers, but I'd like to see how people think Schumacher will get on after his long break.

He is now 41 and has had some injury issues (after falling off a motorbike) so there are some concerns over his fitness. In the most recent test, at Jerez, he was 5th quickest and over 2 seconds off the pace:
