Is Formula One going to die?

 The complexity of F1 has never really captured the imagination of America. Both right and left handers are a step to far in a country where lawless Ice hockey and glorified rounders take the sporting centre stage. I have no doubt that Nascar would bore me to death, but having said that, F1 has frustrated me this year with its late decisions and silly punishments. Le Mans Series

Any Le Mans Series fans on the board?

I have to say i prefer endurance racing than F1 but because of the long races and limited TV coverage (only on Motors TV i believe) i rarely get to watch a race from start to finish. Anyway i stll try to watch the races whenever i can and when i do i enjoy seeing the prototypes slug it out amongst the GT1 and GT2 cars.

Brazil predictions?

Not even sure if i'll even watch the grand prix this Sunday but i watch them whenever i remeber.

For the record i dont support any of the teams in particular. All i'm hoping is for some good racing for a change and not for someone to storm off into the distance leaving the rest to fight for scraps, but im guessing that's exactly what we'll get.

So anyway what do you all think will happen? Hamilton for the win? I'd be inclined to think so.

Why we need customer cars in F1

All of us that love F1 realise that we need more overtaking. There is a whole F1 working group dedicated to achieving that aim. But what F1 could also do with is a greater number of entrants, and one way of doing that is to continue to allow customer cars. Look at Moto GP; they have various privateer and factory entrants and it only adds to the whole show. How is it more cost effective for Force India to run at the back of the field in their own chassis when they may be in the middle of the pack ...

Lancia in F1

Rumour has it Lancia is thinking about joining the formula 1 circus by buying one of the smaller teams n using Ferrari engines!!!! I hope it is only a rumour because it absolutely makes no sense to me from a marketing point of view,they, the Fiat group, hv 4 the past fifteen years tried mking Alfa Romeo the sporty brand n Lancia the luxury one n are just about the release the new Delta which is not a sports car at all,y not just use the Alfa brand if they want 2 hv a second team in F1????????????????,
