Accident

  • Hello The 2 race cars were racing obviously on the inside line and they were running cold slick tires . they slid into all that trouble on the outside line and as you can see there leaving the circuit.Can somebody ID what made the cars track? Thankyou Daniel Eady

Hi everyone!

Saw an interesting looking write-up in Auto Express today....all about getting into racing! they talked about a scholarship being run in feb....

Been on the website, looks pretty cool! wanted to know if anyone did it last year?? and is it any good??

BTCC Last Race

Howdy. Migh tbe a long shot, but does any1 know of any comeptieions on the go for tickets to silverstone next weekend?!

It's shaping up to be such a good race Id love to go (for free - bloody bank balance! ).

Failing that, anyone know if it's going to be on tv?

Hilarious. In St. Petersburg I came across this weird thing the other day. In a city that can boast about the number of motor cycles you can count  seeing in a week on one hand - I saw this - couldnt help but laugh. But I came home and checked it out on the net. Really is fun - and I wonder if it goes well in winter on our roads. Has anyone else seen one of these? Ridden one?

Great driving on a 997 GT3 Cup - amazing skills

Team Abu Dhabi by tolimit driver Sean Edwards finished 4th overall, 3rd in Supercup, 3rd in Carrera Cup and now leads both championships.

The race was so wet and it being his first time at this track in these conditions the race was a tough one!

The car is a standard 2011 997 GT3 Cup with no abs

The greats have past -post war

I thought with the following news (see below) it might be nice to have a section on great F1 drivers since the end of WW2. If anyone wants to open another for the Greats b4 then please do so.

As a small boy I grew up with cars and racing in my blood. My father had even raced a Bentley at brooklands once (only once!!! and then the war came) so maybe from there. But my great hero until his untimely death was Mike Hawthorn. His boyish looks and bow tie (under his racing overalls!!) and his fighting in every ...

Le Mans 2011

Whilst the Pugs and Audi's slug it out - much more fun will be happening behind. Really exciting stuff especially the little BMW M3's - one with Andy Priaulx driving - having left tin-top world series - he (and Farfus) have opted this year to enter the Le Mans series. I think it was a wise choice as the Chevvy Cruise is proving difficult to beat!!

see below the entry list of the "also ran" which is a great mix of everything a petrolhead could enjoy.

What kind of a fiasco was the race today (Monte Carlo). Under a RED FLAG they were allowed to change tyres??????? That is nothing short of sheer favoritism for Vettle. His rubber was well knackered and he was hanging in there but I am 100% sure he knew he would have to give way before the end of the race and Alonso was also close to the same situation whereas the strategy of Button would have given him victory. The FIA needs to address this nonsense PDQ because like many - I was disgusted with the decision. Hamilton was playing ...
