Mitsubishi Pajero

I own a 2000 Pajero 3.5 v6 lwb and had some extensive work done on the engine, including fitting a set of banana branches. The cambelt and camgear on the crankshaft were replaced as well. Sudenly I have lost performance. The torque is definitely not what it used to be, even after fitting an additional silencer to the exhaust system. The engine runs smoothly and petrol consumption is better, but no PERFORMANCE. Is this model fitted with a computer chip which maybe needs attention? Any help out there? I don't seem to be able to pick up the South African ...

What will your next car be?

Simple enough. I'll start off. After 8 years of driving a 1989 POS Mitsubishi Lancer inherited from my family i am ready to move on. (Yaay!) I looked at everything from hot hatches to used TVRs but what i really really wanted was something RWD with not too much cc's to ease the grueling registration tax. When i finally listened to logic and decided against a T350 (where the hell would i service it here and they're not exactly suited for the semi-saharan heat we have during the summer) i started to look at used Elises. But I crossed those ...

My own BMW art car

the painting itself was very tirening and it was a surprise to me how much surface area a car has. at times i wanted to just take that brush and dab away. it's hard to say 'fcuk it' and start at one corner.

and if you do, you go like 'ohhhh fcuk, what have i done' but then you're past the point of no return.

Right then, what cars do you drive?

I currently own a 1.3l Yaris and a 116i.

they are both about as slow as each other away from the traffic lights! But I did have the presence of mind to order the BMW de-badged, so it might just be a 120d if you don't look too hard.

I%XA0remember%XA0turning the traction control off on the BMW for the first time, and expecting everything to turn into an%XA0episode%XA0of top gear. And then I realised that you had to dump the clutch from about 6,000 revs to spin the wheels at all. It is not a fast car.
