New Megane advert

Anybody seen the advert for the New Megane ('its time to change')? What do you think of it? I find it very cheeky but also kind of uhmm desperate in a way,really trying to put the message across that Renaults have improved in built quality and so on,do you think it will work?

Starting problems with Renault

Hi all, i need some assistance desperately. I own a 2003 Renault Megane II Dynamique, with the start and stop button. Ever since i bought the vehicle i've been having problems with the car to start. But it is irregular, i think depending on the weather.  The past weekend i was stuck at the shopping mall, it was raining and the car would not start. When i phoned my insurance, they informed me that it's been the 4th caller with a renault Megane to be towed in. The guy that came to tow me, said i was the 3rd person to ...

Megane Estate - yes there is one!

Apropos not much in particular – this morning driving along the parkway I overtook a red estate. I was somewhat taken aback to see the word ‘Megane’ on its rear door. My ignorance I know but I can’t recall ever seeing a Megane estate before and to be honest I didn’t realise Renault actually made one. It looked dull and anonymous.  I sense it hasn’t been a great sales success.

Renault Design

The Twingo is plain boring. But the Laguna isn't. Sit a Laguna next to a new Mondeo and the Laguna easily has more character, more of a French charm about it. That's down to the fishy nose and high back end. And the interior is brilliant!

The next Megane will see Renault return to form, I'm sure. And then the new Scenic and Espace will probably be some of the quirkiest and most practical MPVs on the planet.%XA0

I have never seen a Cit C8 (or whatever its called) on the road ! Some said they were aimming at merc when they designed this car ! :shock:Have they ever seen a mercedes ?:shock:

Should the french manerfactures concentrate on what they are good at small cars, mpv's and diesels ???:mellow:

The new Laguna has to be one of the most uninspiring designs of the past 7 years, I can't actually believe Renault thought that people will take note of such a dreary design. The Passat has a prestige look to it and an aire of Germaniac quality. The Mondeo looks striking and stands out from the crowd. & from the looks of things, even Vauxhall are getting their act together with the Insignia, but the Laguna.
