Would you buy a Chinese car?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am not yet sure how everything works but would really like to get your opinions on Chinese cars and your perceptions of Chinese car brands. Nissan & Porsche Punch Up

Well, it's into at least its 4th round now, with a carefuly optioned Skyline setting new records.  Porsche will no doubt be bitching again, but what I'm interested in is who's king of the hill in various other classes, how fast are our older 'heroes' in comparison with modern ultra sports, track day cars and M5s AMGs RS6s etc.?  Any of you well-connected and / or statistically obsessed shed some light on this esoteric, but always quoted measure of sportiness and some of the back stories?

Do you judge people based on what car they drive?

Even though you don't know them, have never spoken to them etc, because i admit that i really do. Audi A4? get off my rear bumper you utter arse. BMW 3? oh bugger off, not fitted with indicators these days i see. Porsche Cayenne? best you just die really. Anything from korea, same as the cayenne i'm affraid.

Sorry, but i do judge you all. and i think, if you're honest, you judge me too (i've an alfa 159 - more money than sense?, i can assure you it's not true, i've no money- thank you Mr Brown)

Jaguar XF 2.0 Diesel

Ok, I drive a BMW 318D touring, my next car will be a 520D or similar from Audi or Mercedes. I've just driven an XF 2.7D, a great car, the suspension if wonderful, it's a much more comfortable car with an excellent blend handling and sportiness than a 520d, E220 cdi or A6 2.0 TDi on the crappy Norwegian roads which I drive everyday. The problem is in Norway the XF 2.7 is priced well above what I would like to pay, so a cheaper 2.0 diesel priced at the same level as the A6 or 520 (E220 is a ...

Kia Picanto Chill

Hello I wonder if anybody has a kia Picanto I have a new one. "Not a bad car" Have noticed though that the fuel gauge takes quite a while to show full on the gauge. They have changed the sender but is the same. Has anybody else noticed this?
