Who are the serious rally people in here

Some people in here are already aware that I rallied for 12 years whilst living in Greece and competed twice in the Acropolis rally. I still think that rallying is the best and greatest skilled driving scene of all these sports (with Dakarites a very close second). I would love to share with like minded, or even better, experienced or even amature rally drivers, your knowledge and experiences. Be in touch guys.

Red Bull games

I was seriously pleased that Red Bull have taken over officially the Toro Rosso team. This effectively puts all other contenders at a disadvatage. What I see happening is that RB will in fact field 3 cars as RB and THAT is the fun side. It will put the onus on other teams to add an extra car to the grid. This would be fanastic because not only would it fill out the starting grid to be more interesting, but allow the musical chairs for drives to really get some umph out of it. Imagine they do it. Alonso hot ...

Is Formula One going to die?

The complexity of F1 has never really captured the imagination of America. Both right and left handers are a step to far in a country where lawless Ice hockey and glorified rounders take the sporting centre stage. I have no doubt that Nascar would bore me to death, but having said that, F1 has frustrated me this year with its late decisions and silly punishments. Im starting to understand the yanks reasons for dismissing it, and it seems Canada and China are too, montreal is of the calendar for 2009, and shanghai may follow, I know the economic crisis is ...

Brazil predictions?

Not even sure if i'll even watch the grand prix this Sunday but i watch them whenever i remeber.

For the record i dont support any of the teams in particular. All i'm hoping is for some good racing for a change and not for someone to storm off into the distance leaving the rest to fight for scraps, but im guessing that's exactly what we'll get.

So anyway what do you all think will happen? Hamilton for the win? I'd be inclined to think so.

stewards favor ferrari?

is it just me or is it true that in the past two years all stewards decisions seem to advance ferrari?

i wish somebody with more resources than i would do a study of penalties and points deducted in the past two years. i bet that ferrari always benefits from F1 actions.

Why we need customer cars in F1

All of us that love F1 realise that we need more overtaking. There is a whole F1 working group dedicated to achieving that aim. But what F1 could also do with is a greater number of entrants, and one way of doing that is to continue to allow customer cars. Look at Moto GP; they have various privateer and factory entrants and it only adds to the whole show. How is it more cost effective for Force India to run at the back of the field in their own chassis when they may be in the middle of the pack ...
