I'm on here trying to get BETA testers for our new motoring/electric vehicle service called PlugSurfing.
PlugSurfing is an app and website based commmunity of electric vehicle owners who sign up to share charging points, promote electric travel and who want to overcome the lack of charging infrastructure in the UK. Using the free app you can find public and private charging points using our GPS system and database, locate users who have agreed to share their point and then contact them using the chat function or contact details supplied.
It is an idea we have been working on for sometime and is now ready for testing! It is aimed at the UK but we would appreciate views from anyone interested.

That seems like a very good idea Adam. While I cannot say that I am overly enamoured with electric cars, I do like the sense of community that you early adopters have and this sort of thing can only strengthen their acceptance.
Good luck and don't look down on us petrol burners, some of us like the noise it creates.

Go on, call it Chargebook or Plugbook. Sorry I get my tacky 'coat',. But it may be a good idea if you haven't to find, if there is such a thing, a electric car forum. So you have all these early adopters in one place and you can find them easily.
