I live in the Cardiff area and regularly drive through the Welsh valleys and it can be an incredible experience - especially when driving in and around the foothills of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. I've lived in both England and Scotland but for me nothing quite beats the feeling of driving in the Welsh mountains (and I'm english).
