Sorry to hear that Pedro. When you do come back though, perhaps you could spend more time over here on the darkside, where all the REAL experts live.Checking your posts, you did invest most of your eggs in the front page basket, where the glory boys hang out.Hasn't gone your way and you feel the need to go elsewhere.| hardly post on the front page, pretty well for the same reasons as you have mentioned.I'm sure thats true for others here on the forum. But we have spread ourselves between the two so we do have somewhere else to go. I think you should give us a bit more of a go over here.it might seem a bit clicky and silly sometimes but that will sort itself out when we get more bods on here.....Stick around

I agree with Lokinen, one of the reasons why I dont really hang around on the front pages myself, not very friendly over there unlike here.

Your thoughts on Bangle in the BMW room please?

Yes i am aware of the article in the main page but i always read the comments to the articles a couple of days later so i dont have to keep re-visiting the article to see the new comments.

edited for spelling - I'll leave the typos to joedodgy

Having a busy few days here in the offline world that have kept me away from the forums, but news of Bangle's departure brought me back - now Pedro's leaving too!?

That's a real shame, but I can completely understand your reasons.  Enjoyed your comments and hope you'll find your way back to the forums sometime.  Perhaps if the next website update included a 'view comments' link instead of the most recent 5, we may be able to browse the news section without the added ranting (I know ga41 - there's a room for site suggestions  )

car4mh, Just copy your suggestion in the improvements thread. It might take 2-3 years for them to do it but still..

Very sad news about Pedro. He was one of the more charming amongst us. I also liked his avatars, from the dog through to the movie promotions. I will miss his wit, it can be in short supply at times.

I will not say vale, merely adieu, Pedro.

OK busy forum this week and the most inane thread has returned (after my ludicrous ask Batty buffoonary piece)

Thank you this week to, in no order, five only

car4mh- good bloke, works hard and is a real nerd on cars.

Robby1977, obvious why really

ga41- The meditarrean scuba sex machine boy. Almost missed out because of his so, so, so obvious sucking up to a female member

lokinen- THE anorak (until car4mh finally takes over)

livc44411- Happy French dude, works hard here too and has small feet. You know what they say about that my friend

Stafff. Can only be the only staff here. Mr Pollard. Tireless Tim, who brings the fun with him. And the tickets too. And maybe the hotel(!), although the what he said in the office about what you may have to do for it really made me concerned.

Unfortunately someone had to miss out this week, don't take it personally, there is always next.

Oh and as always if you're not happy, tell CAR because until I'm blocked I'm going to keep on keeping on.

Avagoodweegend!

Sorry to do the quote thing but I'll be buggered going back and forth all the time to remember who was in last time.

livc44411's favourite thread returns! and now it is so much easier with the new people here.

Thanks this week go to (in no order again)

morepowerigor- coolest handle on the site, very funny man with great knowledge.

bertandnairobi- An eloquent intellectual type, who adds class to contributions and has both a wicked sense of humour and terrific sense of kitsch in the automotive landscape. Oh, and manages to combine grammatical balance to his posts that elude the most of us.

kubick- fantastic post on the villians and heroes thread; a most welcome addition

omgn03- Fierce female forum enforcer! Has Robby and ga running around, which is terrific to see.

TigerLilly- Oh the enigmatic Ms Lilly. How pleasant it has been to have her return. Her friend Penny also deserves a special mention. I would happily enjoy a plutonic existance with that happy couple of ladies. What fun it has been.

Staff- Well Tim got it last week, so....

No it has to be Tim again for coming through with the tickets!!  Full marks mate; I know I've said it in the Geneva thread but that is really a very genuine and pleasant gesture. If I wasn't going already I'd be seething with jealousy. I don't think Olivier would do what you suggest but I'm sure lokinen will, he does drive trucks after all. Oh and Robby will definitely will, he just has such low moral standards it's almost too easy.

Now, how about letting me on the judging panel for the front page give away? Please. I'll be good I promise!!

Avagoodweegend!

Thanks for that, I´d like to thank my literary agent, my grammarian, my researchers, MS Word and my team of secretaries for their help in potting togither the postss this week and without them whom it would be whom not possible to offer my insights and scalpel-like insights.

Thanks of course to the other posters who have been impressive in their offerings. The "forgotten cars" strand was huge fun to read. I would have posted a response to Mr Kubrick´s excellent desiger item but I felt I couldn´t do it proper justice in the time allowed.
