By looking at the barrage of negative comments on every Porsche story on the website one wonders how can a company so lauded by the press be so loathed by, what it seems, everyone else (ignoring their commercial success, im talking about the CAR Online website readers).
I have to say i'm a bit biased. I think the Boxster/Cayman is the benchmark in their respective categories and the 911 is as close to perfect as a car can get. I love it's pace, its noise and yes its looks brought on by that quirky and unique engine layout. I think the main reason i love the 911 so much is just because it's different. Sure there's loads of them around but i really dont care. That's why the 911 C2S is my (relatively realistic) dream car.
I do hate the Cayenne though... But that's more because i have a problem with all giant SUV's in busy city centers. The Panamera is to early to judge too. I dont mind the looks as long as it's great at everything else so i'll have to see more about it.
So anyway, why do you hate Porsche? And if you dont why do you like them or are indifferent towards them?

Now my intention is not to be rascist, as difficult as that may be after 30 beers - but the fact remains that Porsche still build some of the best cars mankind has ever seen. Please do not allow your hatred for Porscche to cloud your judjement - judge Porsche as you would a 70-year-old-vet, but please don't judge the 70-year old vet by actions that were dictated by the insanity of a world-war.

Very true Sonny.
