Hope to get planning permission in time to start building Sept 2009, start production mid/late 2010. 1st car (P11) launched later this year ahead of production in 2010.
Biggest revelation in planning docs is that the rumoured "cheap" £60k to £80k McLaren doesn't exist. Depending on which part of the McLaren documents you read there will either be
"three new models ranging in price from £100,00 to £600,000"
or
"three models ranging in price from £160k to £600k"
On the plus side, this means that the top of the range McLaren F1 successor is only £600,000, not the rumoured £1million.

Also, at least one of the McLaren road cars will have KERS or other hybrid system. They are recruiting a senior hybrid powertrain engineer.
