RE: Media Gallery Detail

It looks like the outward rear visibility will be appalling. It keeps getting worse with each successive generation of car. Not only are the glass areas small but there is usually a large area of opaque black ceramic to make the transparent area even tinier. I wonder if anyone can suggest what might arrest and reverse this trend. I was in an Opel Insignia estate the other day. The outward vision stunned me with its restrictiveness. Are there any cars now with what one could call good outward visibility?

So the spawn of Satan is just as exposed as the innocent youth? I like your thinking.

Typical Frenchman - always looking for depth! But it’s just a shallow observation on the appalling 3/4 rear visibility of the thing - those pillars can hide so much. Of course that’s hardly the exclusive preserve of Mercedes.

Bottom pic speaks for itself, but what about the top one? Something about innocent youth about to be crushed by some motorised Angel of Death? What suggested it?
