Daihatsu Mud Master-C concept (2007): first official pictures

Rated 2 out of 52

Guy Bird, 25 October 2007 04:02

Surely the best concept name of the show? Possibly. Although it sounds like an early 80s rap MC with dirty habits, this concept is actually designed to showcase a possible all-terrain vehicle able to transport keen mountain bikers to extreme locations – as well as providing shelter to fix their rides under its twin gull-wing doors with built-in LED lamps. ...

Daihatsu OFC-1 and HSC

Rated 0 out of 50

Ben Pulman, 11 September 2007 10:51

It looks remarkably like a Copen… It does indeed, and at 5mm shorter, the same width, and only 45mm higher the OFC-1 is all but identical to the Copen. In fact, it is the new Copen, just not as cute. But perhaps the biggest changes is the switch from a two to a three-piece folding roof. The main roof section ...

Daihatsu Materia (2007) CAR review

Rated 2.5 out of 52.5

Tim Pollard, 09 August 2007 06:53

This looks like a Japanese-market mini or a US Scion... Bingo! That's exactly what the Materia is. It's sold in Japan as both a Toyota and Daihatsu, and it's not even new to mainland Europe, where it's been sold for a while. But the UK importer has finally seen fit to bring the distinctively boxy mini over here to take ...

Daihatsu Materia (2007): first official pictures

Jack Rix, 11 June 2007 11:03

Daihatsu Materia: the lowdown At last, a Daihatsu with at least some street-cred! This is the new Materia mini-MPV, due to go on sale in July. It borrows the slammed-low, urban styling pioneered by cars such as the Nissan Cube and Honda Element, but this one will be imported officially into the UK. The choice of engines isn’t a choice ...

Daihatsu Copen (2007) CAR review

Rated 3.5 out of 53.5

Jack Carfrae, 02 May 2007 09:51

But this looks just like the last Copen? What's new about it? The latest incarnation of the cheap 'n' cheerful little roadster from Daihatsu hasn't changed at all on the outside apart from an '80's-style 911 rear spoiler; what's important is under the quirky skin of this, the cheapest proper roadster on sale today. Out goes the old 660cc screamer, ...
