New February 2009 issue of CAR Magazine

Waaaagh. I have to wait until the end of February to read this. I´m looking forward to the giant test. I´ve been howling for this for so long the Car team have had to put a restraining order on me. But at last my ravings have been heard in Car Towers___ Incidentally, the January edition was astonishingly full of reading material. I think there are still some bits I haven`t got around to yet. It´s such a change from the dark days of Barlow when the magazine was made of chopped up bits of unfinished sentences and every article was about the Porsche 911. So far, the change of ownership has helped Car alot. The talent was always there. Now it has been unleashed again.

P48: THe CAR 100, BMW M1 " ...leaving the M1 tantalisingly on the back burner, it's 3.0 V6 rumbling under that slatted deck." - Have you guys just completely given up on proof reading, or are BMW really abandoning how many decades of in-line 6 cylinder engines? The thing is, this isn't proof-reading, what self-respecting car journalist honestly thinks that any BMW engine has a V6, even when typing out a quick bit of text. Happy New Year CAR, any resolutions?

Thank you, finally something different from Porsches (particularly the 7653rd version of the GT2), Lambos and mostly criminally ugly Ferraris! Looking ahead especially to the saloon-test, this segment is the real survival test for the large car companies.
