This insane creation is Aston Martin's 100th birthday present to itself. Christened the CC100 Speedster, the one-off concept hints at future design details for production Astons. And there I was thinking all Astons look the same... The CC100 is inspired by the 1959 DBR1 racer driven by Sir Stirling Moss at the Nurburgring 1000km. The split cockpit, cutaway doors and ...

This is the new Aston Martin Rapide S. It’s a facelifted version of the famed British company’s super-saloon, timed perfectly to coincide with the launch of the new Maserati Quattroporte and facelifted Porsche Panamera. What’s new? The enlarged singleframe grille is big enough to make an Audi designer jealous, the 6.0-litre V12 boasts an extra 80bhp, and there’s a three-mode ...

Aston Martin will launch a convertible version of the Vanquish sports car later in 2013, and CAR has scooped the soft-top super-GT testing in the UK. Mechanically identical to the hard-top car we first drove in 2012 (see our video review below) the Vanquish Volante sits on Aston's aluminium Gen4 VH platform, and has a 565bhp 5.9-litre V12 which will power it to a 180mph-plus top speed. ...

Bertone is celebrating 60 years of collaboration with Aston Martin with this one-off Rapide shooting brake. The Rapide Bertone keeps the regular Rapide's 2+2 seating configuration, but offers rear passengers more headroom and a taller boot. It's been comissioned by a wealthy Aston Martin collector, who helped design the final look of the car as well as the choice of ...

Aston Martin has turned the wick up on its Rapide super-saloon for 2013, turning it into the faster, restyled Rapide S. Power is up by a substantial 80bhp from the old Rapide, and there's also been a heftier facelift than we're used to from Aston. The Aston Martin Rapide S has 80bhp more? That's quite a leap! Whisper it, but Aston pitched the Rapide slightly wrongly when ...
