CAR reader Ian – surname withheld – has sent us these new spyshots of the facelifted-for-2010 Ford S-Max. He spotted the revised people carrier in Laindon, Essex, about two miles from Ford's Dunton Research Centre.  The new S-Max features a revised grille, which Ian reckons houses hardware for new Adaptive Cruise Control; he also points out the new front bumper, rear spoiler ...

CAR magazine subscriber Manfred Pignitter spotted this development mule for the next BMW 5-series in Austria, complete with an odd-looking exhaust extension. Is this the underwater 5-series, complete with snorkel? A new aftermarket exhaust? Or perhaps something to do with the company’s push for class-leading green credentials?
