Fretting I'm not Tim. I'm just quipping sarcastically/sardonically/wistfully (take your pick) about the VW range not CAR running 'scoops' and dressing up VW's range of bricks with Timberland logos. Scoop away all you like

Love the scoop story on the Eco car... that was published in June. Keeping me up to date guys. Merry Christmas. And why is that only VW group companies get these scoop extravaganzas. Last time it was Audi. Who's paying your bills boys?

The VW scoops have been terminated - it was a one-off for a week-long scoop special and we're now on to the next big thing. We did a similar scoop focus on a single brand with Audi earlier in the year and they were among the most viewed articles we've run in 2008. I understand that some people might not be interested in VW, but plenty are. If you don't like it, don't read it! We've moved on now, so fret not...

How about terminating the VW scoops Tim? It's pure tedium looking at VW making 'City Rovers' of their entire tedious line up. If that's supposed to be a fun packed weeks work for George Kacher then staining the garden fence must be like a Bungee Jump adrenalin rush!

Trust me - VW (in the UK at least) gave us no help whatsoever to compile this scoop round-up. Volkswagen UK told my reporters nothing; this was put together with Georg's info from Germany, plus other engineering and other sources. I'd love to be able to tell you a bit more about how we assemble these scoops, but then I'd have to terminate you!
