BMW 5-series (2010) spotted by bfg

BMW is getting close to launching its new 5-series – we’ll see it in the next few months – and more and more midly-disguised prototypes are being spotted on test. CAR reader bfg is the latest to spy the new German exec.

‘I was in Munich this past weekend, and after crossing the street noticed a lightly camouflaged F10 BMW 5-series. In hindsight I wish I’d taken more photos, especially as the interior seemed to have no camouflage at all, but the driver soon realised what I was up to and sped off…’

But look closely and you can still catch a glimpse inside the new Five, and spy the expected dash-mounted sat-nav screen. Bigger is news is the new M5, which will drop its high-revving V10 and seven-speed automated manual ‘box for a twin-turbo V8 and eight-speed auto.
