RE: London motor show 2008 video A-Z
We have longer videos to come. We've rushed through the short clips on the individual cars, but have stand-by-stand videos and our usual overview video to follow - plus interviews with all the CAR staff to see what they thought of the show. It's difficult to please everyone, but we're confident our London motor show videos will come pretty damn close. We've shot an unparalleled 50 or so videos. So hang on for the rest, which should be up within the next 24 hours. And let us know what you think at the end! Cheers.

I'm usually not very quick to complain, but I find these very short videos a bit pointless. The comments are very bare-bones and the photography isn't exactly of Top Gear (or Car mag) standard. Why not let the presenters/journalist elaborate on their points about each car? Still, I'm really looking forward to the video on the stand girls - hopefully with special attention to those representing Alfa, Fiat and Saab. If they're all attending the show, that is.

Thanks Tim. We're obviously there for the cars but eye candy takes many forms and we're not holding it against manufacturers using questionable tactics to draw us to their stands - in fact I positively encourage it! The Alfa stand will be of interest but it is a known brunet enclave. As a blonde man myself which stands are likely to have the most interesting models/models to visit and peruse designs, figures, brochures and contact numbers?

Don't worry JohnnyBimmer - we've got plenty of video footage and indeed comments about the stand girls in our fulsome show report. It's even a topic that our chosen reader reporters kept reverting back to. Especially when we sat near the Alfa Romeo stand. Funny that.

RE: London Motor Show videos 2008
You've missed a trick CAR for the preview to what REALLY matters for all petrolheads for these shows and that's the preview of the girls (technical term 'totty') on the stands. Had we had the girls on each stand we'd have been able to plan our stands to visit avoiding unnnecessary foot-ache and maximising the eye candy.
