Rolls Phantom Coupe vs Bentley Brooklands

The Bentley is very flash, but the Rolls is flasher.

Having seen both vehicles first hand now. The wife and I agreed, we absolutely love the Roller. There's something to be said about "less is more" In this case, it was the layout of the dash compared to the CL's and other gt coupes of today. While both are finished immaculately... We wanted old fashioned simplicity, and elegance. You're not overwhelmed with buttons, idrives, and blinking flashy lights and glitz in the Phantom. Quite simply, its brilliant.

Succinctly put Brand0, and I agree. You do feel however that it is RR marching forwards enhancing their identity and making themselves relevant, whereas Bentley are looking over their shoulder at what has gone before, trying to ape that success by copying the style rather than the essence of what made those models great. RR wins, Bentley wanes.
