Why it’s special: If you didn’t watch the original TV series for the unnecessary explosions, you watched it for B.A. Baracus (aka Mr. T) driving his GMC van.
Best bit: Reciting the following line over and over: In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.
Pub fact: The Vandura van featured different gadget in different episodes, from a tiny printing press to Hannibal’s disguises, while the sunroof also came and went on a whim.
Plot overview: We’ve snuck The A-Team’s van in because a movie will be released next year. No word on the plot yet, but we presume a motley crew working as ‘soldiers of fortune’ will be present and correct. Rumour has it Bruce Willis will play Hannibal.
For: Out of context, it looks awful.
Against: A bit obvious.
CAR verdict: We pity the fool who doesn’t admit the Vandura van is cool.
