Bad luck if you fancied a McLaren 675LT Spider: they’re all sold out

When we brought you news of the new McLaren 675LT Spider, we suggested you move fast if you fancied getting your hands on one. And, true to form, all 500 Spiders have now been sold, just two weeks after the car was first revealed. That’s despite an asking price of £285k a pop!

The original 675LT Coupe also sold out almost instantly, but the speed at which the Spider’s been snapped up has surprised McLaren insiders. Like the Coupe, the McLaren 675LT Spider packs a beastly 666bhp and 516lb ft, weighs a whopping 100kg less than a regular 650S Spider and cracks 62mph from standstill in 2.9sec.

So while it’s too late for any of us to put a brand-new 675LT Spider in our garage, we can enjoy a spectacular new promo video featuring former F1 driver Bruno Senna pushing it to (and beyond) its limits on track. Watch (and listen) below:
