The prizes

These aren’t just any cars we’re giving away: they’re all brand-new, fresh launches for 2018. In fact they’re so new, we haven’t driven all of them ourselves yet.

  • First prize: BMW X3 – The follow-up to one of the most desirable compact SUVs of the lot, now with more room, more speed and greater efficiency. Click here to read more about the new X3
  • Second prize: Ford Mustang – freshly updated with a new face, a ‘Good Neighbour’ quiet start mode and a more exciting-sounding ‘Drag Strip Mode,’ the ’Stang is back and bolder than ever. Click here for more info on the updated Mustang
  • Third prize: Seat Arona – the littlest new SUV on the block, Seat’s Arona is a crossover cousin to the new Ibiza, bristling with crisp styling, connectivity and customisable colours. Click here to learn more

As in previous years, the competition is being run concurrently in a multitude of different countries and open to entrants from all over the world. Last year one of the winners was from the UK – Chris Jordan drove away in a new Mercedes-AMG C63. He’s pictured below with his son Matt who entered the competition, picking up the keys from CAR’s editor-in-chief Phil McNamara.
