Watch: Max Verstappen drives a Red Bull F1 car – on an Austrian ski slope

Red Bull likes a good F1 car publicity stunt. In recent years they’ve run a Grand Prix car on one of the world’s highest roads in Kashmir, and donutted one on a helipad 210 metres above ground in Dubai.

The team’s latest promo is no less spectacular, sending young gun Max Verstappen out onto an Austrian ski slope in an RB7 F1 car with only his wits and a set of snow chains to keep it on the straight and narrow. Given the many hundreds of horsepower on tap (assuming it wasn’t ‘turned down’ a little), it seems to put its power down remarkably well…
