Even Rolls-Royce isn’t above a facelift. You’re looking at the very first pictures of the new-look Ghost, snapped testing in Sweden by our intrepid spy photographers. The new pictures show the next iteration of the ultra-luxury saloon cold weather testing just like any other car – and despite the camo it’s possible to make out some key changes.

Most of the camouflage – and therefore the new stuff  – seems to be located around the front of the car: look closely and you’ll see redesigned headlights. Although disguised, you can see Rolls-Royce designers are moving away from the rectangular lights of the current car to something more svelte and akin to the lights on the Spectre.

It’s a move we’re seeing more and more manufacturers making, as they look to bring the last batch of their ICE cars up to the same cutting-edge styling as their EVs,

And the back?

Vast swathes of uncovered bodywork on the side of the new Ghost tell us there’s not going to be much change along the car’s flanks – but a look to the back of the car reveals some changes to the rear lights: the shape is the same as before but like the front, the Ghost now gets similar lights to the electric Spectre.

Anything else?

The V12 stays for now, as does the interior tech – but the former is likely to have a number of emissions-related updates.
