Lamborghini’s latest Christmas gifts

Think Lamborghini and you think outrageous styling, ferocious power and lustrous heritage underpinned by impeccable German engineering. Slick, sophisticated and full of brio. And then you clap your eyes on its latest range of Christmas decorations. Oh dear.

Oh dear indeed…

It’s baubles, bears, candles and cushions– in matt Nero Noctis black and Mono Cerus white to match the new LP560-4, of course – are now available from Collezione Automobili Lamborghini, and they join the line-up of lifestyle goods that ranges from baby t-shirts (a snip at just £28) via leather flying jackets (£900), ladies bikinis – or are those Lambakinis? (£79) – to Gallardo luggage sets (£4862). You can see the full range at www.lamborghini-store.co.uk

Lamborghini isn’t alone, though. There are numerous top-end manufacturers that, in our opinion, pillage their heritage with a vast array of ‘official merchandise’ that no self-respecting car owner would be seen dead buying. Ferrari cologne, anyone? Porsche motorsport teddy bear? Bentley coffee mug?

Seen any unbelievably bad – or good – taste automotive merchandise that we should know about? Go on, spill the beans by clicking ‘Add your comment’ below
