The shortlists have been announced today (Octoberwith the Best Large Electric Car brought to you by CAR being one of a total of 21 awards.

Now firmly established as a big-selling EV, the Tesla Model 3 is the reigning Parkers New Car of The Year on account of its sheer usability and long range. Clever semi-autonomous tech and a thoughtfully-designed interior are the icing on the cake.
