Win tickets to Rockingham’s Mini 50th bash

The Mini will be 50 this year, and to celebrate Rockingham race circuit will hold a fantastic weekend of celebrations. On 18 and 19 April 2009, the Northamptonshire circuit will host the UK’s longest running single-make formula, the Mini Se7en Championship, as well as the modified 1300 Mini Miglia Championship and the Mini Cooper Challenge. Also on the cards is the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup, along with race action from TVRs, Westfields, Radicals and more.

CAR Magazine has teamed up with Rockingham to giveaway five family weekend tickets, which means entry on both days for two adults and two children aged 15 and under.

The entertainment won’t be confined to the track and there will be plenty for the whole family to enjoy, including a special Mini track parade, a static display of Minis from the past five decades, plus a designated Mini parking area.

Rockingham has superb views of the track from every grandstand seat, so you can guarantee that you’ll catch all the thrills and spills wherever you sit. Grandstand seats are free for everyone and you can also walk over to the paddock to see cars close up.

Tickets are on sale now from www.rockingham.co.uk/events. Advance ticket prices are £18 for the weekend, £12 for race day or £8 for Saturday and remember, children aged 15 or under can catch all the action free. Advance tickets can also be booked by calling the ticket hotline on 01536 500500.
