60sec road test
Let’s be honest: you’ll only really consider a Logan MCV if you want masses of room and seven seats for not much cash. There’s a humongous 575-litre boot in the back there - it’s actually bigger than a BMW 5-series Touring’s loadbay! You can see why they name it after Maximum Capacity Vehicle. Flop the rear seats down and that soars to an echoing 1518 litres. It’s huge. The Logan MCV isn’t stylish, refined, or fun to drive, but it does offer a high car-to-pennies exchange rate. Plus, we suspect its no-thrills, no-frills, ‘what you see is what you get’ mantra might win it more than a few fans among you. As with all Dacias, it’s the downright honesty and cheapness-on-its-sleeve attitude that means it doesn’t deserve to be overlooked.
