Porsche Pegasus: Star Wars meets Stuttgart

► Porsche design returns
► It’s a spaceship this time
► Part of the tie in between Star Wars and Stuttgart

Porsche and Lucasfilm have stepped up their collaboration with this, a new spaceship penned partly by the bods at Stuttgart and the creators of Star Wars. Called the Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighter (obviously) the new design will be shown off at the December premiere of the next Star Wars film.

The spaceship follows a rather bizarre clip of a Porsche Taycan being chased by First Order fighters, and is one of the more outlandish things Porsche has leant its name to.

Take a look at the Pegasus, and you’ll see a few similarities to the rest of the Porsche road car range. The ‘lights’ at the front of the spaceship appear to be straight off the Taycan, while rear light strips behind the wings are reminiscent of the new 992 and Taycan’s light signature. Clearly, part sharing is alive and well in the future.
