60sec road test
This is a very different kind of Ferrari - one which is aimed at a different type of customer. That means a large proportion of the motoring public: those who want to cruise open-top one moment, but flip to a coupe the next; more women buyers and people new to the brand (70% of all buyers are just that); and those for whom charging flat-out everywhere is not the be-all-and-end-all. And we raise our glasses to that sentiment. It’s pleasingly different, yet it’s still a prancing horse at heart. Which means the now-turbocharged V8 - another first for a mainstream Ferrari - offers mind-warping speed, the chassis is more than capable of playing bruiser as well as boulevardier and the four-seat cabin is both classy and commodious. We like.
