Background
Tepee is Peugeot’s label for its van-based models. There are currently two: the seven-seater Partner Tepee and the nine-seater Expert Tepee, the latter available in short and long form. 60sec road test
Their commercial vehicle roots mean Peugeot’s Tepee models are short on glamour but long on practicality, and tough as old boots. The five-seater Partner Tepee has sliding doors, making life easier in tight car parks, and the cabin’s basic but durable. Bigger brother is the Expert Tepee, which is about as XXL as people carriers get. Blurring the lines between car and minibus, it’ll carry up to nine people in three rows of seats and still have space for their luggage. Seven-seat versions offer a bit more elbow room. Incidentally, at the time of writing the Partner Tepee and short and long wheelbase Expert Tepees have the dubious honours of being the UK's top three slowest accelerating cars from 0-60mph.
