► New Lancia Delta launches in 2026
► High-performance HF Integrale confirmed
► As part of new model line-up for resurrected brand
Lancia has confirmed that a new Delta HF Integrale is on the way, as it rolls out its new-age high-performance line-up of road and rally models.
As the brand builds its new identity, it’s already in progress launching a full range of new models using Stellantis STLA platforms. First came the Ypsilon hatchback, followed by a new Ypsilon HF version. Next up is a new-generation Gamma and Delta due in a year or so – both likely using the new STLA Medium platform.
While the Gamma poised to become a DS No8 and Peugeot 408-style coupe crossover, the Delta is planned to be a much more conventional family hatchback to fight the likes of the VW Golf as well as in-house Stellantis rivals like the Vauxhall Astra and Peugeot 308.
As well as a regular version and a sporty HF-Line version (think of that like BMW’s M Sport or Audi’s S Line), Lancia confirmed a high-performance Delta HF Integrale.
In media communication about the new Ypsilon Rally6-spec car, Lancia says that ‘it should be noted that Lancia’s return to rally is part of a broader industrial and cultural plan, leveraging motorsport as a strategic laboratory for technical innovation, the development of young talent, and the reinforcement of the brand’s identity.
‘Always a symbol of Lancia’s boldest vehicles, it is back and ready to take a central role in the brand’s vision of the future. Indeed, HF will become the defining feature of all the high-performance versions within the new Lancia lineup.’
However, in a now-deleted last line in the press release, Lancia also said this, following directly on from the previous line: ‘today on the Ypsilon model, and soon to appear in 2026 on the upcoming Gamma and Delta with the ‘HF Integrale’ label.’
While performance specs for the HF Integrale aren’t confirmed yet, STLA Medium cars can be powered with dual-motor setups, developing north of 400bhp. Like the Ypsilon, we can expect the new Delta to launch with a visually dramatic design, too.
We’ll update this when we know more.
