Ford Focus (2011): reader spies a new camo job

Published: 18 October 2010 Updated: 26 January 2015

An anonymous CAR Online reader uploaded these intriguing shots of the new 2011 Ford Focus after a holiday in Italy.

The UK-registered hatch was sporting a new take on automotive car disguise. Let’s call it Splurge. Or maybe Freisian Cow.

The nameless reader said: ‘Whilst on holiday in south Italy last month, we saw this UK-registered new Focus with disguise fitted in the hotel car park.’

What with black-and-white psychedelic tiger stripe, good old-fashioned binbags and now leopard spot splurge, engineers are clearly hellbent on pushing the car camouflage envelope.
