The one we’d buy
2.0 TDI 150
The one we’d avoid like the plague
No truly bad cars in the range per se
Rivals to consider
Skoda Octavia, or step down to a VW Golf or up to a VW Passat
Roomy, easy to drive, surprisingly brisk with top diesel engine
So dull it should carry a ‘may cause drowsiness’ warning
