Maserati Quattroporte S (2009) CAR review and video

Rated 4.5 out of 5

Kyle Fortune, 10 July 2008 09:20

Maserati's been busy; only a few months after it launched the Granturismo S, it’s now given us a revised and facelifted Quattroporte. Always one of the best-looking four-door cars around, sensibly Maserati has kept the visual tweaks to a minimum.  So what is new on the 'new' Maserati Quattroporte? They've followed the facelift rulebook to the letter, changing the front ...

Maserati Granturismo S CAR review

Rated 4 out of 5

Ben Barry, 15 May 2008 10:22

With 433bhp, the Maserati Granturismo S is the most powerful production Maserati ever built, limited-edition MC12 not included. Shown at the Geneva show a year on from the original Granturismo unveil and launched at Maser’s Modena HQ yesterday, it promises to set right the base car’s biggest flaw: that it doesn’t have enough power. But other details don’t work so well. Maserati is proud that the rear lights use the same LED technology that ...

Maserati Quattroporte Automatica CAR review

Rated 3 out of 5

Anonymous, 19 January 2007 11:30

An auto box in a big luxury saloon? That’s hardly news… It is for Maserati. To mark the Quattroporte out as a very different, more sporting proposition to its mainly German rivals, it has only been offered with the Duo Select automated manual until now. Although it has an auto mode, it still uses a clutch and will never be ...

Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT CAR review

Rated 3.5 out of 5

Anonymous, 28 July 2006 12:11

Sport GT? Explain please? Maserati has expanded its big saloon range, adding two new models to sit alongside the regular Quattroporte: the luxury-angled Executive GT and the performance-focused Sport GT. The Executive gets a chrome-finished grille and 19" rims, Allegro Vanden Plas-influenced retractable wood tables and even privacy curtains. I've never really bought into the privacy curtain craze. Indeed. So ...
