Honda’s NSX replacement: the spyshots

I already predict a car driven by technology, and not soul. An altogether numbing experience. A Ferrari F430 Scud this won't be. I hope the GTR takes it to school.

As a Californian I can say the NSX has a small but fervent following. It's a lot lot like the Merc SL from the '80's. Fierce, but oh-so-civilized, people who bought the car back then keep driving it today. It was a hit in Silicon Valley because it has the reliability to sate the ruthless tech mogul convinced that Ferrari is Italian for make work for mechanics. Lovely as the new car may be, you know Honda's best automotive talent is for the FCX Clarity.

The old NSX is still a car to lust after, much more so than a contemporary Ferrari - I think their rarity, underratedness by the masses and the Senna connection just make it all the more appealing to those 'in the know'. Hopefully this can recapture some of that magic and not have it numbed by an excess of useless technology.
