► McLaren 720S by MSO
► Unique ‘Fux Fuchsia’ shade
► On show at Pebble Beach
You might need some protective eyewear to see this colourful McLaren in its natural habitat. Say hello to the McLaren 720S by MSO, which has been specially finished for Michael Fux – a US entrepreneur.
The colour is called ‘Fux Fuchsia’ and was originally created for Mr. Fux by Rolls-Royce, but McLaren then got involved and the colour was ‘redeveloped by MSO.’
The dazzling purple paintwork finds its way onto the lightweight alloy wheels, contrasting the dark grey finish. Inside, the Fux 720S has an ‘MSO Bespoke’ white leather cockpit, with white stitching and white Alcantara floormats.
The unique colour also finds its way inside; there’s a pinstripe on the steering wheel, door inserts and rear-view mirror, too.
Mechanically, the MSO 720S isn’t any different from a regular one and… no: if you want your McLaren in this colour you’re out of luck. Mr Fux has exclusive rights to the colour.
Mr. Fux is a known collector of rare cars and owns a 12C, 12C Spider in a unique purple and a P1 in a bespoke green.
