To pull together the 26-page Nurburgring feature in the new July 2009 issue of CAR Magazine, our road test team had to decamp to Germany’s Eifel mountains for a week.
As well as eating at the famous Pistenklause restaurant, spying on some prototypes and squeezing in a couple of their own hot laps around the infamous Nordschleife, the team timed Porsche’s brand new 911 GT3 and Nissan’s 2010 model year around the ‘Ring, and pitched the GT3 against the ultimate GT-R, the Spec V.
We couldn’t fit all the pictures from their exploits into the new July 2009 issue of CAR Magazine, but we’ve included a few extra pictures for CAR Online readers to peruse, including a look inside Nissan’s HQ at the ‘Ring, and a few of shots from the magical time when the CAR team had the Nordschleife to themselves.
