► Vote in our F1 championship hat-trick poll
► Whose win was better: Hamilton’s or Stewart’s?
► Modern vs yesteryear in our F1 poll
As Lewis Hamilton wins his third F1 world championship, we ask you to rate his achievement. His win at the US Grand Prix catapulted him into joint first with Jackie Stewart’s record, the only other Briton to win three world championships.
But whose achivement is greater? Do you rate Stewart’s hat-trick for the sheer courage required to race in the 1960s and ’70s, with fewer driver aids and only scant notice paid to driver safety? Or is Hamilton’s threesome all the more impressive considering how fiercely fought F1 is nowadays, with all the attendant distractions?
Vote in our poll to have your say. The answers will be published in the next issue of CAR magazine.
