► NB this competition is now closed

Here’s a brilliant opportunity any petrolhead should not pass on: it’s your chance to win some of the year’s most brilliant new cars – simply in return for two minutes of your time.

We are giving away a Ford Focus RS, new Audi Q5, Infiniti QX30 and a Hyundai i30 as part of our Auto Trophy 2016 poll. It’s a global motoring survey conducted by our parent company Bauer Media.

All you need to do, for a chance to win one of the cars listed, is tell us about your favourite cars – in every sector – in our online survey.

There are no catches. Simply click on your favourite cars, give us your name and email address and you’ll be automatically entered in to the competition. The winners will be announced at the Auto Trophy gala dinner in Cologne, Germany on 29 November 2016.

And your chances are high: a British reader, Chris Jordan (below), won last year’s competition prize, a Mercedes-AMG C63.

Chris Jordan: won last year's Auto Trophy prize, an AMG C63!

As usual, there is a small amount of small print with a competition of this nature. All entries will take part in the draw. Employees of the Bauer Media Group as well as their relatives are not permitted to take part. Participation via third parties (e.g. raffle/competition agencies) is excluded. One entry per person. The competition is being run across a number of Bauer magazines and countries. The judge’s decision is final. The car prize will be the stated model with the basic features and previously established extras. The prize does not have to correspond to the model photographed here. A cash alternative is not possible. The winner will need to make their own arrangements to collect the vehicle from a Ford, Audi, Infiniti or Hyundai dealership. The winner will be notified in writing and must confirm receipt of this notification within seven working days otherwise a new winner will be chosen.

Voting closed on 2 November 2016 at 23.59 UK time. Full terms and conditions are available here. Good luck!
