1) Thelma & Louise?

My daughter’s first drive while on holiday in France. She is now hooked and reads CAR before me and my 17-year-old son.

2) A brace of Bentaygas

Spotted these two left-hand-drive Bentley Bentayga test cars in the car park at the top of the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen, whilst on a trip to North Wales.

Let it snow

3) Let it snow

I just wanted to share how much fun a little French hot hatch fitted with studded winter tyres can be on hard-packed snowy roads in Sweden. 1000kg car with 180 horses makes owners of expensive cars embarrassed while trying to keep up between high snowbanks.

Bjorn Nordahl

4) Stratos rebooted

Four years of blood, sweat and tears later. Not original, but has Busso Alfa 3.0-litre V6 and numerous other parts ‘robbed’ from the Alfa group shelves. Oh wait, so did the originals.

Steve Cook

5) Scenery? What scenery?

The beauty, presence and technical specification of the new hot Alfa Romeo Giulia was as captivating as the Torres del Paine National Park and Massif in Patagonia.

John Reay

6) Life is beautiful

Could there be a better way to put a little colour in one’s life: a beautiful day, and a new Porsche Boxster with the top down.

Gary Lindt

7) Chasing Ben Oliver

Spent five days following Ben Oliver’s footsteps up the Stuart Highway in Australia’s Northern Territory. Untroubled by the remaining speed-limited sections. Speculated how well his Bentley Conti would tow my three-tonne Jayco.

Nick Dawson

8) Cuban wheels

That’s me reading CAR in front of this Mercury Monterey in Havana, Cuba. At least that’s what the badges declare but, this being Cuba, it may well be a cobbled-together collection of parts from other marques! Still, my copy of CAR drew covetous glances everywhere we went!

Jon Morgan

9) Snooze academy?

We’re building our Caterham Academy car. Let’s hope reading CAR doesn’t delay us getting onto the 2016 starting grid!
