Lewis Hamilton and the rest of the F1 grid are taking on the Bahrain GP this weekend, but if you want to get an insight into the current world champion’s driving style, you could do worse than watching the video above.
Like most games, GT Sport features the Nurburgring circuit – as well as the Nordschleife – but unlike most racing games, GT Sport can list Lewis Hamilton as one of its ambassadors. And that means you get videos like the one here.
In the almost-hour-long video, we get to see one of the best drivers in F1 history navigate the Nürburgring in a Mercedes AMG GT GT3 race car. As well as an almost constant commentary, there’s also a pedal cam, so you can really see just how smoothly the champ brakes and accelerates.
Of course, this exists partly to promote GT Sport – but it still gives us a rather close look at the driving techniques of a current world champion, even if it is on a racing simulator.
