It might display about as much emotion as an Edwardian family portrait, but the Seat Alhambra is a fine people carrier. It’s closely related to the VW Sharan, with seven seats as standard. For more information on the Alhambra, click on our further stories on the links below.
60sec road test
Most seven-seat people carriers don’t actually do a great job of the carrying people bit when filled with a full quota of passengers. Usually the third row is only accessible for particularly spry children, or amputees. The Alhambra, however, makes a genuinely decent fist of transporting seven adults in something approaching comfort. The seats fold neatly and easily, fuel economy is reasonable considering its heft and it’s competitively priced. A good choice.
