I was hoping to see a report on the new Spyker C8 Aileron. It was shown in Geneva earlier this year, but that was a prototype. In London the production version is shown, so I was interested to see if there have been any changes.

If Car takes e.g. 12 hours more than other websites to write and shoot better reports... then I really don't care much about the delay. - Many of these articles repeat the same fact: the London motor show plays at second division. I guess many of you Britishpeople (no sexism, like it? Me not) feel terrible about that, being one of the most important countries regarding motoring industry and motorsport. Think about this: the Montevideo motor show gets zero unveilings and little -if any- concept cars. If you dare read Spanish, here you have an article about the 2006 edition: http://www.forocoches.com/foro/showthread.php?t=516004

It's my first time to the excel motorshow since 2004 when I went to the NEC and I have say it was very dissapointing. There where no Ferrari or Porsche or any of the big brands, except Mercedes, Lotus, Bentley, Lexus and Jaguar. The problem is the Excel centre is to small while the NEC was big enough for all the manufacturers. I hope the next motorshow will have all the manufacturers.

Thanks all for your patience. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see our final show report. I admit we're maybe not the first out of the blocks on this one, but we reckon it'll be worth the wait. Why are we a bit late? Because we've just come back from Excel where we've shot 58 different videos. And that's in addition to the usual show report. We know you still want the written reports as quickly as possible, but we've elected to do video on all the major cars and brands there this year. There is already a smattering of video uploaded now and by the morning (it's 11.20pm in the UK now), there should be an unparalleled amount of coverage. Not to mention our reader reports from the four CAR citizen journalists who won our competition to report live the Excel. All coming soon!
