Ferrari has issued this new video of the 458 Italia scorching around the Mugello race track in northern Italy. It’s the best film footage yet of the new Italia being driven in anger, as a brace of 458s are piloted around the circuit accompanied by a Modenese symphony of hard worked valvegear and exhaust blare.

What does it feel like to drive the new Ferrari 458? That we still don’t know. Sadly, we’ve got to wait a few more months yet before Maranello will let us behind the wheel of the new Italia.
