► Mini is transformed

Earlier this month, we revealed our friends at Magic FM were renovating an old 1.5-litre Mini Cooper for charity, and now we can reveal the final product.

Some of the changes are quite subtle, and darker headlight and grille surrounds make the car look more svelte than it did previously. Somewhat more obvious is the upgrade to black, painted alloy wheels – and a large Magic FM sticker in the rear window.

The original donor car is pictured below, before its makeover.

Magic Radio presenters Ronan and Harriet select a item to ‘jazz’ up and sell every week, and the Mini Cooper is the latest item to get their makeover treatment.

The car will go on Gumtree, and the profits will be donated to the Cash for Kids charity.

Cash for Kids is Bauer Radio’s network of local charities, which operate across 22 areas around the UK. It aims to respond to the needs of children in communities, and enable all children to live life to the full and achieve their individual potential.
