Aston Martin’s new DB9 (2010) scooped

Published: 10 June 2010 Updated: 26 January 2015

These are the best pictures yet of Aston Martin’s revised DB9. Caught on test near Aston’s HQ in the UK, this tweaked super-GT will be unveiled in the next few weeks, and usher in a host of visual tweaks.

So what’s new on the new Aston Martin DB9?

Cast your eye over this white DB9 and you’ll spot the visual changes, if you look closely – the front bumper is new (complete with smaller and more angular side intakes) and the side sills are chunkier. There’s a new, shinier grille too, and this test car sports clear rear tail lights.

Unfortunately there are no tweaks to the 470bhp, 5.9-litre V12, so Aston is hoping to entice potential customers with a wider variety of alloy wheel, fascia and trim options.

We hear from an Aston source that we shouldn’t think of this car as a facelifted DB9, more as a model year update. The new car, in both coupe and Volante forms, should be on sale from July 2010, and a modest price increase is expected too.
